                                                                                                                    SUMMER 2000

SUMMER SUMMER SUMMER

It's hard to say goodbye....
Our Tiny Tot summer has been wonderful. The four and five year olds are enjoying swimming on Tuesday and Thursday and their field trips on selected Wednesdays. They have been to Emily Oaks, Jungle Jims, Kohl's Children's Museum and are looking forward to Pirates Cove.
The toddlers and three's are having a lot of summer fun here on campus! Water play on the playground is one of their favorites.

We are very busy planning for our new school year.
Many of our older children will be leaving us and going on to "big school". It's a double-edged sword. Most of them have been with us for more than half of their young life and your treasures have become our treasures. It's time, and they are ready. They are bright and well-prepared to face new challenges. We never really say goodbye at Tiny Tot. You will always be a part of the Tiny Tot Family.
Many of our tots will be moving into new classes.
Miss Chris Rice will be teaching Kindergarten. Chris is no stranger to us. She worked with us in 1994-95 before going away to college. Chris has returned to us with her teaching degree and has been working in the five year old class this summer. We are very excited to have Chris back and looking forward to a wonderful year.
Miss Kathy and Miss Suzy will be in the pre-kindergarten class.
Miss Stacey and Miss Joanne in the three year old class and Miss Jodi, Ramszy and Lori in our toddler room. It will be a wonderful year.
GRADUATION A SUCCESS!

On Thursday, June 8, thirteen kindergarten children received their diplomas at the graduation ceremonies held at the Holiday Inn in Skokie.  The children sang songs and danced to the delight of parents, relatives and friends.  A small reception was held afterwards.

Our Miss Amy arrived in California last week and is settling into her new home.

Reminders and things to do.....

We will close Friday, August 11 at 6:00 p.m. and open for the new year on Monday, August 28th.  Please take home your child's bedroll and extra clothing.  The school will be painted, the floors stripped and waxed and equipment replaced and replenished.
