NEWS AND NOTES

We're back!

Dear Parents,

Tiny Tot has been opening its doors for a new school year since 1948, but never with a major construction site in front of the building! We apologize for the inconvenience and major mess. The village says they are on schedule and will be done by November. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
The best news is our windows! Aren’t they wonderful? During the first week we were closed, the windows were installed, the school was painted and the floors were stripped and waxed. During the second week, the cleaned blinds were returned and the teachers worked very hard putting their rooms back together and preparing for the children’s return. Every item in the building was washed, sorted and put away. A Big Thank You to each and every one of them for their hard work and generous hearts.
Our new windows were a huge expense to us. Our fall fundraiser is extremely important to us this year. We are asking every family to participate in order to off-set this expense. We have chosen The Prestige Collection, Fall 2004. The catalog has many treasures including Disney, Boyds Bears, Thomas Kinkade, and Holiday goodies. Please show the catalog to friends, family, neighbors and co-workers. All your treasures will be delivered before Thanksgiving.
We will also have our yummy cookie dough sale in November, in time for holiday baking.

We would like to welcome Miss Shannon to our kindergarten.  Shannon is a graduate of Northeastern University and has a degree in Early Childhood Education. We are excited to have Shannon as part of our staff.

Our new bride, Miss Michelle, has returned from her honeymoon, and continues with Miss Ramzi to provide a wonderful environment for our three year olds. Miss Anna and Miss Bobbie will be with the children in the late afternoon.

Miss Kathy and Miss Meghan are ready to lead our four year olds to new heights. They have a great year planned for your little ones.

Miss Jo has redesigned the toddler room and along with Miss Lori and Miss Megan have a wonderful year planned for our littlest tots.

We are very fortunate to have such a qualified and committed staff!
We are looking forward to a wonderful year!

        DINNER MADE EASY!

Eastern Style Pizza will again deliver food you order to Tiny Tot.
Loris, the owner, will do a tasting and have menus available in a few weeks.
We have been fans of their food for year.
It is an easy one-stop, no fuss solution for dinner.
We will let you know when the tasting will take place.

WHAT'S HAPPENING...

Our Teddy Bears, the two's ...
celebrated "All About Me Week." We made a letter collage and
gingerbread boys and girls.  We had a great time!

The Bunny Bunch, the threes ...
began our new school year with "All About Me Week."
We made self portraits and created a friendship wreath with our decorated handprints.

Our 4's, our Junior Kindergarten ...
will be celebrating "Grandparents Day" with a mini breakfast of
muffins and juice on Friday, September 10 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:a.m.
Grandma and Grandpa, plan on joining us if you can.
We enjoyed making our very own faces and we will do this same project
at the end of the school year to see if we have changed.
Whooo is in our class this year.  Welcome to the Junior Kindergarten!

Our 5's, our Kindergartener's...
are going to have a great 2004-2005 kindergarten experience!
We made our own unique t-shirts to show that we plan on having a T-rrific year.
