FIRE PREVENTION WEEK!
October 10-14 |
 |
|
During Fire Prevention Week we will all practice our
fire safety rules.
We will have a fire drill and hope to have a visit from
our friendly neighborhood fireman
to show us his equipment and talk about what
to do in case of a fire at your house.
We want them to run toward the fireman,
not away from him in fear, in case of
emergency.
THIS IS A GOOD TIME TO CHECK YOUR SMOKE DETECTORS!!!

Our Halloween Party
will be on
Monday, October 31st.
The children should come dressed
in their costumes over their clothes. Remember they will be in them for
the morning, so please make them comfortable. We discourage the wearing of
Power Rangers and violent action heroes. We will have our parties in the morning
and remove costumes before lunch. If you wish, you may bring an individually
wrapped treat for your child to hand out on that day. Ask your child's
teacher how many children are in the class. The children will each have a goodie
bag to take home. |

Parent Tips for Halloween |
|
 |
·
Make your
child eats dinner before setting out.
·
Ideally, young children of any age should be
accompanied by an adult.
·
If you buy a costume, look for one made of
flame-retardant
material.
·
Although tampering is rare, tell children to bring the
candy home
to be inspected before consuming anything.
·
Look at the wrapping carefully and toss out anything
that looks suspect. |
