During Fire Prevention Week we will all practice our
fire safety rules. We will have a fire drill and soon have a visit from
our friendly neighborhood fireman to show us his equipment and talk about what
to do in case of a fire at your house. He will come in as a dad, dress up as a
fireman and then leave as a dad. We hope that the children will see that
under all of that equipment there is a dad or mom who is there to help them.
We want them to run toward the fireman, not away from him in fear, in case of
emergency. |

Our Halloween Party will be on Friday, October 31st. The children should come dressed in their costumes over their clothes. Remember they will be in them for the morning, so please make them comfortable. We discourage the wearing of Power Rangers and violent action heroes. We will have our parties in the morning and remove costumes before lunch. If you wish, you may bring an individually wrapped treat for your child to hand out on that day. Ask your child's teacher how many children are in the class. The children will each have a goodie bag to take home. |
