HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

WHAT'S HAPPENING...

Tiny Tot is very fortunate to have Deputy Fire Chief Barry Liss as one of our parents.
He graciously visits each year around Fire Prevention Week.
He comes in as Meghan's Dad, dresses in his fire gear and becomes the friendly fireman
who is there to help us. He then undresses and once again becomes Meghan's Dad.
We want the children to know that the fireman is our friend.
If he comes to our house, we need to run to him and not away in fear.

Our Teddy Bears, the two's ...
during "Fall Changes Week"  made an acorn and a
leaf collage from leaves we collected outside.
During "Farm and Farm Animals Week" we made paper plate pigs and sheep puppets.
"Halloween Fun Week" we made jack-o-lanterns from orange paper.
We also made a ghost that we glued white sparkles on.

The Bunny Bunch, the threes ...
during "Community Helpers Week" had a visit from Fireman Liss.
We talked about that we wanted to be when we get older and drew pictures.
In October we also collected leaves on a nature walk and created wreaths and leaf prints.
Our Halloween ghosts look pretty scary late at night.

Our 4's, our Junior Kindergarten ...
are studying the letters of the alphabet.
We talked about the letter "F" and glued feathers on it.
We ironed shaved crayons and put leaves on paper plates
to make our beautiful Fall wreaths.
We enjoyed making scary spiders for Halloween.

Our 5's, our Kindergartener's...
to celebrate Halloween made jack-o-lantern people.
The children folded paper to make arms and legs.
They then glued the arms and legs to a pumpkin and drew a face on the pumpkin.
We put cooked spaghetti in a bowl with glue.
The children then formed a web using the spaghetti.
We added a spider ring to our spider webs.
