Thursday, November 6th was Picture Day.   The pictures will arrive before Christmas.  They make great holiday gifts.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

WHAT'S HAPPENING...

Our Teddy Bears, the two's ...
learned a lot about fall.  They made a leaf collage mural.
During Senses Month, the toddlers made window cling art to SEE!

The Bunny Bunch, the threes ...
during Fire Prevention Week created fire splatter pictures.
They used spray bottles of paint to pretend they were firemen.
Also, during Halloween week we created spooky spiders to hang from our walls.

Our 4's, our Junior Kindergarten ...
painted their fists orange and their thumbs green, and made "Pumpkins on a Vine."
Some of the children laughed while they were getting their little fingers painted.
They said that the brush felt very ticklish to them! While other children stated
that the paint felt cold, wet and slimy! This activity was fun for all and
it also helped the children use many descriptive words.
For Native American Week our Junior Kindergarten made indian jewelry.
We are also talking about being thankful for all of our blessings.

Our 5's, our Kindergartener's...
during Spider and Insect Week threaded white yarn over a
paper plate they had painted black.  Next, they glued spider parts together
and connected the spider to the web.
During Doctor Week, the 5 year-olds learned about the
importance of washing their hands and we also talked about
why we go to the doctor and what we see .
