WHAT'S HAPPENING...

Our Teddy Bears, the two's ...
used dot markers to decorate kites, colorful collage
materials to make windsocks and pastel paints and sponges to create
flower pictures in celebration of Spring's arrival. The children also
painted umbrella's when we talked about the rain that comes with Spring's arrival.
The children added eyes and a smile to their finger-painted raindrops .
We stuffed a plastic bag with colorful tissue paper to make butterflies.
The children used a tye-dye painting method to decorate fall leaves and
snowmen during Four Seasons Week.
We used brown paint to make muddy footprints for our April Bulletin Board.
The children made Mary's Little Lamb using white cotton balls during Nursery Rhyme Week.

The Bunny Bunch, the threes ...
during Nature Week talked about animals, plants and trees.
We had a picnic outside and talked about keeping our earth clean.
We created flowers out of handprints, mosaic butterflies and trees.
During Dinosaur Week we had fun digging for dinosaur bones,
making dinosaur sponge paintings and creating our own fossils.

Our 4's, our Junior Kindergarten ...
used neon colored paint for paint our umbrellas for April Showers.
The Junior Kindergarteners are ready to spread our wings with our glittery butterflies.
We enjoyed dressing up paper dolls we made our own clothes for the dolls.
The children enjoyed planting and watching our seeds grow into plants.

Our 5's, our Kindergartener's...
when talking about Spring we made our own flowers out of cupcake holders.
For the 21 day period of our child incubation we open up a plastic that has a picture of a developing chick.  We also count how many days we have left until our chicks hatch.
We talked about oviparous animals and then each child drew a picture
of an animal that hatched from an egg.
