SUMMER CAMP IS A BLAST!!
Swimming classes are going well and everyone is enjoying all of the special activities at summer camp.  We have added a new section to our newsletter this month called
 "WHAT'S HAPPENING!" 
Here you will see some of the great activities your child is participating in at summer camp.

  WHAT'S HAPPENING...

In our Teddy Bear Group, our 2's...

Today was laundry day! We filled the washing table with warm soapy water
and scrubbed our doll clothes clean. While we were washing the dolls clothes
we sang "This is the way we wash our clothes." Some of us washed
ourselves (instead of the clothes) but all in all it was good clean fun!
Afterwards we hung our wet clothes on the clothesline
with the help of our teachers, so they would dry.

In our Bunny Bunch, the 3's, this month.....

Using watercolors, the three-year-old's painted these animals
for Zoo Week. After they are completed, they will be displayed
as the class zoo.
The three year-olds also constructed these animal faces during Zoo Week.
They each glued noses, eyes and ears to the face and then a stick was glued
to the back of each one.
We had a great time during Zoo Week!

Our 4's and 5's this month...

The four and five year-old campers are enjoying their second week of camp
with The Great Dino Hunt. We have made yummy deviled dinosaur eggs that the
children cracked open, prepared and gobbled up. For arts and crafts, the children
put together a styrofoam dinosaur with an attached thermometer and we learned
to read the temperature.
We have also enjoyed other activities on our playground sandbox with searching
for dinosaur bones and cleaning off our fossils with toothbrushes.
