WHAT'S HAPPENING...

Our Teddy Bears, the two's ...
in the Spring made butterflies, ladybugs, and caterpillars, we even went fishing.
During Red, White, and Blue Week we created beautiful designs by dropping red and blue
paint on paper and then folding the paper in half. we also created a classroom flag using
our handprints. each day during Farm Week we pained and decorated different animals to
hand on our Old MacDonald Had A Farm Bulletin Board.

The Bunny Bunch, the threes ...
talked about summer vacations.  On Camping Day we set up a tent and made smores.
During Beach Week we created beach scenes and sailboats. We also had a pool party outside.

Our 4's, our Junior Kindergarten...
have been learning about insects and reptiles.  We've looked at them with
our eyes and though a magnifying glass. We've made caterpillars and butterflies
and enjoyed watching the real ones go into their cocoons and then turn into
butterflies.  It was hard to let them go, but fun to watch them fly away.
During Summer Week we talked about everything that happens at the beach.
We made picture frames with sand and shells. We had lots of fun.
We can't wait for Western Week!

Our 5's, our Kindergartener's...
Congratulations to our Graduates!
Summertime...time for a picnic, can't have a picnic without bugs!
During Red, White and Blue Week we made these fantastic fireworks and
talked about that independence means and why we celebrate the Fourth of July.
During Butterfly Week we made butterfly magnets and used out imaginations by
doing this worksheet: "If I were a butterfly, I would fly to _____ and I Would look
like this." We even watched real caterpillars grow into beautiful butterflies.
