FEBRUARY IS DENTAL HEALTH MONTH!

How do you keep your teeth healthy?

1. Brush your teeth at least twice a day.
2. Limit sugary foods and drink.
3. Eat crunchy foods such as raw carrots, apples and celery.  These foods help scale tartar from teeth.
4. Eat calcium rich foods such as cheese, milk, and dark green vegetables.  Calcium builds strong bones and teeth.

WHAT'S HAPPENING...

Our Teddy Bears, the two's ...
In January talked about snow, snowflakes, snowmen and ice and Winter animals.
During "Winter Animal Week" we enjoyed learning about penguins, seals and polar bears!
We made our own penguins, painted seals and made a snow scene with polar bears.

The Bunny Bunch, the threes ...
during the month of January the three-year-olds learned about
winter sports, penguins and polar bears, stars and constellations.
We talked about the sports we play in Winter.
We made ice skates, hockey sticks and pucks.
We also made Winter snow scenes.
We learned about Martin Luther King, Jr..
He was a nice man who wanted everyone to get along.
We are also talking about different letters of the alphabet.

Our 4's, our Junior Kindergarten ...
"Matters of the heart" - month! Hearts full of love and patriotism.
On the first and second week of the month, we will celebrate Groundhog's Day and St. Valentine's Day.
We will have some history lessons and learn the Pledge of Allegiance.
We will celebrate President's Day and learn important facts about presidents Abraham Lincoln and George Washington.

Our 5's, our Kindergartener's...
made snowmen for our family project this month. This is a wonderful project because we see
so many unique snowmen. No two are alike.  It is also a great opportunity for our parents
to interact with their children for a fun activity! Thanks, Parents, for everything you do!
