February 2001

We will have our Valentine's Parties on Wednesday, February 14^th. Your child's teacher will be sending home specific information for their classroom. If you want to get started early we ask for a Valentine card for each child in his/her classroom. We do not put names on the envelope. You or your child can sign the back.

		Last February we had a Kindness Tree in the entrance hall. We continue the tradition and of the month of February we will be placing hearts on the tree to acknowledge any Random Acts of Kindness. We are including the entire Tiny Tot Family, children, parents and teachers. Every time you are the recipient of a kindness, take a heart and put it on the tree. Hopefully our tree will be very full. Feel free to acknowledge what the kindness was on the heart.

We will discus manners in February and just how important good manners are to everyday life.

		The teachers and myself will be attending Insights 2001 on February 24^th. Insights is sponsored by the Illinois Child Care Association. The teachers will be attending workshops during the day as part of their in-service requirement.

You have received the summer request sheet. Please return the sheet in a timely fashion.
