TINY TOT TIMES

September 2000

Welcome to the 53rd opening of the Tiny Tot School Year.  During the two weeks we were closed the school was painted, the floors were stripped and waxed and new equipment was purchased.  The Toddler room has new lockers, a new soft climber and most importantly the room is now air conditioned!!!! This was not an easy accomplishment.

The Three-year-old class has new library furniture and a whole new look.

The pre-kindergarten and kindergarten rooms have new carpet and some new treasures for the children.

We welcome Miss Chris as our Kindergarten teacher.  Chris first worked with us for two years from 1994 to 1996.  She left us to attend Illinois State University and completed her studies in December 1999.  With teaching certificate in hand she joined our team and we are thrilled to have her back.
The pre-kindergarten class is under the loving guidance of Miss Kathy and Miss Susie.  We are so fortunate to have them both and their room speaks for itself.
Our wonderful three-year-olds are with Miss Stacey and Miss Joanne.  Stacey has been with us since last March and Joanne since July 1999.  They have rearranged the room and have wonderful plans for the very busy three year olds.
Miss Jodi, Miss Ramsey and Miss Lori are in the toddler room with our littlest angels.  We started the week with several little ones and a minimum amount of tears.
Miss Kathy and Miss Ann are back in the afternoon.  They are twins and they do look alike.  Kathy is in the toddler room and Ann is in kindergarten.
Miss Amanda is our helper in the afternoon from 3:00 to 6:00.  Amanda attended Tiny Tot when she was a little girl.
Miss Jan and Miss Lidia are in the Kitchen.

Please feel free to call anytime and with questions, concerns and good news.  We have lunch at 11:30 followed by nap.  Naptime is a very good opportunity to talk to your child's teacher.

We are very excited about our new year and all our new little Tots.

A sad note...Miss Jodi told me yesterday she has accepted a new job with Motorola.  We have been fortunate to have her at Tiny Tot for over three years and thank her for all the hugs, kisses and love she has given our littlest of the little.  We have started the interviewing process and hope to have a replacement soon.
