Our Book It Program is going
on through the end of April.
The competition is building as more books are being read.
Just take a look at the cutouts around each child's name. Research has
proven that reading aloud to a child
is the single most important factor in raising a reader.
By working together, we can prepare children
to be successful at reading and enjoy it for a lifetime.
At the end of the month the children will receive
a reading award certificate from Pizza Hut
good for a free, one-topping Personal Pan Pizza.
Also, April is National Poetry Month.
You might try reading a little poetry for little ones.

The children made wind socks & we watched them blow in the wind.
During St. Patrick's Week, we concentrated on the color green & made

Also, we talked about birds & butterflies.
We made bird feeders to hang outside & butterfly pictures using our hands &
